When is your next camp? The
winter camps for 2006 have passed, but there will be camps in
January, February and March of 2007. Check back for details, or fill
out the form at the bottom of the page if you would like me to keep
you informed. If you have a group or team that would like to
come to San Diego, then check out my
custom cycling camps.
Will there be a place to check email?
A computer with an internet connection will be available
for your use.
What level rider do I need to be to attend the camp?
Winter camps are geared toward racer, and fit club rider types, that means different
things to different people. We will go out every day and ride,
some of the days are quite long and arduous, some a little easier.
You can always ride extra if you want, but most people won't want....
Everyone will be able to challenge themselves as much as they see fit.
If you have to, you can always get in a support van and cut the day
short. For custom
cycling camps, they can be made
as easy or as difficult as you want.
Will the rides be hard enough for me to get the
workout I want? With this type of terrain, you'll
always be able to get a good hard workout. plus you can always add
extra riding if you want.
How do I get my bike to San Diego?
If you have an airplane box, you can bring it with you on the
airplane. You can also pack your bike up in a cardboard box you get
from your local bike shop and bring it on the plane. The cost
for this is usually about $50-$80 each way. If you have a spare bike
you can ride at home, the best thing to do is pack up your bike in a
cardboard box you got from your local bike shop and send it to me
FEDEX. The cost for this is usually only about$30-$50 each way
and your bike is much less likely to get damaged in transport.
If you need an airplane box, check out these 2 here:
